PS4 - A UNIQUE CONSOLE

 PLAYSTATIONS 4 - A UNIQUE CONSOLE

The fourth edition of Sony's consoles, released in 2013, was a significant revolution compared to its predecessor, the PS3, which also caused a stir at the time.

This console came out with three versions to date, the FAT (November 15, 2013), the Slim (September 15, 2016) and the Pro (November 10, 2016), each with significant differences, particularly in the Pro model, which incorporated performance improvements, for example, in many games.

What did it innovate?

The PS4 brought with it a large catalog of games, including some current ones, despite being from the eighth generation, not to mention its x86-64 AMD Jaguar processor, which drove a wide range of configurations that developers worked very well with and polished to create fantastic titles, such as: The Last Of us Part II, Ratchet and Clank, Dead by Daylight, Fortnite, Overwatch 2, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and many more.

It wasn't just a leap in graphics, but also in experience, thanks to the wireless Dualshock 4 controller and its touchpad, (not to mention accessories) immersion increased significantly, taking much more force in titles that implemented these technologies along with the controller's gyroscope, of course.

Opinion

Personally, I have one at home, the FAT model to be exact, and it's an unparalleled console. The game catalog, interface, and technologies are still impressive despite being years after its release. Everything is quite enjoyable. I keep playing Dead by Daylight, which is one of the main reasons I purchased PS Plus. Speaking of which, what's your opinion on PS Plus and online gaming? Maybe for another time.
