Dead by Daylight - Review
This game, which is set in a horror environment, is all about cooperative survival where 4 survivors face off against a killer. The survivors' goal is to repair five generators to restore power to the exit gates, open them, and escape.
On the other hand, the killer's goal is the complete opposite — to interrupt those actions and, of course, to sacrifice the survivors.
What do I think of this game?
It’s a solid 10/10. While it’s not particularly scary — as it’s more of a competitive game — the atmosphere is outstanding, the variety of characters is great, and what really stands out are the famous “perks.” These provide specific advantages that range from seeing auras (outlines) to performing certain actions faster, depending on the role using them.
It’s an excellent game: great music, good graphics, intriguing lore (yes, it actually has a pretty interesting story), and amazing crossovers. They even recently included Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul as a killer — super cool.
To wrap it up, I highly recommend playing this masterpiece, especially with friends. But if possible, play it on PC, because on consoles you’ll need to pay separately for online access.
